Charmingo Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Charmingo is provided by Ruth Technologies, LLC ("Charmingo," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy applies to the Charmingo iPhone app and Charmingo keyboard extension.

2. Information Charmingo does not collect

We do not operate a service that receives or stores:

• the messages or conversations you type, paste, or analyze;
• screenshots, recognized text, generated replies, or starters;
• your keyboard input or typing history;
• advertising identifiers, location, contacts, or browsing history;
• usage analytics, tracking data, or third-party crash reports; or
• account credentials, because Charmingo does not require an account.

We do not sell, rent, share, or use your content to train AI models.

3. On-device processing

Charmingo uses Apple technologies, including Apple Foundation Models and Vision text recognition, to process supported requests on your device. The app may process text you enter, content you explicitly paste, and photos you explicitly select. The keyboard only works with the text and controls available to it through iOS.

Apple Intelligence availability depends on your device, operating system, enabled settings, and language. Charmingo does not send your conversation content to its own servers when a feature is unavailable.

4. Information stored on your device

Features such as recent conversations, history, favorites, custom tones, preferences, and purchase-status snapshots may be stored locally using Apple-provided storage. The app and keyboard extension may share limited preferences through their private App Group so the keyboard can reflect your selected settings and verified access.

This information is not synced to a Charmingo account or Charmingo server. You can remove saved items in the app where controls are provided. Uninstalling the app removes its locally stored app data, subject to iOS behavior and any device backups you control.

5. Apple services

Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Charmingo receives verified entitlement information needed to unlock purchased features, but we do not receive your full payment-card details. The app may also contact Apple's public App Store service to check whether a required update is available.

Apple may process technical, purchase, and network information under Apple's own privacy policy. Your App Store purchases and refunds are managed by Apple.

6. Photos, clipboard, and notifications

• Photos: Charmingo only receives images you select with the system photo picker or file picker.
• Clipboard: pasted content is accessed when you choose to paste or use a paste-related action.
• Notifications: optional reminders are scheduled locally on your device after you grant permission. We do not use these reminders to track you.

7. Support messages

If you email us, we receive the information you voluntarily include, such as your email address and message. We use it only to respond, troubleshoot, protect our rights, and meet legal obligations. Do not include private conversations or screenshots unless they are necessary and you are comfortable sharing them.

8. Children and security

Charmingo does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because app content remains on-device, you are responsible for securing your device, passcode, backups, and Apple Account.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date above will identify the latest version. If a future feature collects data, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before that collection begins.
